Out of all the performers who make it through NXT and onto the rosters of Raw and Smackdown, only a finite number of those wrestlers can become top-tier talent, hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and carve out a memorable legacy in the company. Countless others will fail trying, be relegated to working on the mid-card, or just never receive that final push they deserve, no matter how charismatic, athletic or talented they are. Not to mention, the WWE are processing more fresh, original and hot new wrestling talent than ever, with the rapid success of NXT as a developmental promotion. This means the top spots will be more competitive, more hard-fought over and harder to gain than ever. There are already several veterans in the company who have been there 5-10 years who have not truly succeeded on the main stage, never mind those looking to make a fresh start in the WWE. It's just a sheer matter of statistics - some will make it to the top rung of the WWE ladder, but the majority won't, they'll flounder, struggle to get over, suffer from awful booking and bizarre, unreasonable gimmicks. We're not here to speculate on who'll make it to the very top or on who has what it takes, this is a list detailing those who have probably lost the struggle, and are trapped in mediocrity. Here's ten current WWE talents doomed to go nowhere.
