Have you ever been so invested in a good book that you've lost a night of sleep because you kept telling yourself "Just one more chapter"? Or in the digital age, have you ever binge watched an entire season of a TV show on Netflix in one weekend because you just couldn't get enough? Of course you have; that's literally the only way to watch Netflix.

Now imagine getting towards the end of the book - only to find that somebody has torn out the last chapter and you have no way of finding out how the damn story ends. Or even better, you load the final episode of your beloved Netflix show only to see that the Director has lost interest, and now all the main characters have changed personas and moved on to a completely different plot without tying anything up.
