Pro wrestling reinvents itself on a fairly frequent basis, but the characters somehow largely remain the same. Presenting characters that have always worked and elicit certain responses is easier than breaking the mold with new character presentations. Thus, in WWE at-present, the idea that ten of their stars-to-be feel similar to ten former superstars. From brassy and bossy Divas always being brassy and bossy divas, second-generation stars not falling far from the tree and performers trained by the same hands sharing similar characteristics, there are numerous tell-tale signs of stars whose influences have already existed and excelled in the WWE Universe. There's been a Rusev, a Roman Reigns, a Charlotte, a Seth Rollins and a Tyson Kidd in WWE. Insofar as those stars channeling the legacies of the stars with whom they share a favorable historical comparison, in the aforementioned cases (and five more), that's exactly what is happening. If anything, this list should inspire some tape-watching and more closer observation of WWE's current product as there are some definite similarities to other performers (and other times) in WWE. As WWE is presently in the midst of a radical reconstruction, enjoy this article presenting ten performers (willingly or otherwise) channeling ten others. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, this is a most flattering list.
