More than just the wrestling, the show exists as a snapshot of the time just before the time. The time that forced almost everything but wrestling indoors, and wrestling into rooms with only one door. And no fans. And no particular knowledge of when that situation might change.

There have been several pressing knock-on effects from this wretched era. So much so that complaining about wrestlers not currently bothering to spend big on gear feels a little glib. But it's been a barren time.

If it does, we'll get even cooler threads too....

This time around, she's shaven the name of her fiercest rival beyond Sasha Banks - Michael Cole. Evidently she had aspirations beyond reclaiming her SmackDown Women's Championship - if she won the Rumble, she was laying down a WrestleMania challenge to the man himself.
