Were so used to putting up with nonsensical storylines on our favourite wrestling shows that its almost a surprise when they pull something out of the hat and make it great. WrestleMania last year is a case in point: the build to the big day was almost non-existent, and the few stories we knew about were ropey as all hell. In the end, WrestleMania 31 was incredibly enjoyable, thanks to the brilliant production values and WWEs roster going all-out to impress, despite the skimpy material theyd been given to work with. And thats fine - they pulled it out of the fire despite themselves. Sometimes, however, they pull it out of the fire entirely by accident when a story comes along that is so incompetent, so cringeworthy, or simply such a bad, bad idea, that everyone involved tries to wash their hands of it as soon as possible and then something wonderful happens, completely by chance, something that wouldnt have happened had the company not made right idiots of themselves in the first place. This article is dedicated to the good that can occasionally come out of the bad, to remind ourselves that it cant rain all the time. These were horrible decisions but they eventually resulted in some really, really good wrestling moments.
