WrestleMania is upon us, and even though there's been a lot of debate as to whether WWE has made the best of its deep roster in assembling the card, it's still going to be the most newsworthy event of the year. Goldberg will be defending the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar, Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton will challenge WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, and Roman Reigns will take on The Undertaker in what may very well be 'The Phenom's final match.

With those bouts, plus an undercard that's pretty much incorporated everybody in the company, it's no surprise that there's been a ton of speculation regarding what will happen at the show of shows. The company likes to promote the old adage that "anything can happen in WWE," and for at least one evening a year, it's true - anything can happen.

Fans have seized on that possibility, coming up with some truly interesting ideas - though some are more farfetched than others.

What are the the most prevalent rumors to have popped up regarding WrestleMania? And how plausible are they? Let's have a look - and be sure to check back on Monday to see how accurate they were!

10. The Hardy Boyz Join The Tag Title Ladder Match

One of the undercard matches at WrestleMania that's kind of just there is the three-way Raw Tag Team Title bout. Champions The Club will be defending against Sheamus and Cesaro and Enzo and Big Cass, (hopefully) putting an end to the program that's been going on for months.

Earlier this week, WWE surprised fans when they added a stipulation to the bout, making it a ladder match. It seemed odd to throw ladders into a bout that didn't have much heat to begin with, which has led to speculation that the match may play host to the return of The Hardy Boyz.

Ever since they left TNA in February, it's seemed inevitable that Matt and Jeff would end up back in WWE. Showing up unadvertised to WrestleMania and winning the belts is a bit farfetched. It's hard to imagine that the company would tell so many parts of their comeback story at once.

It's far more likely the Hardyz will return on Raw or Smackdown, and their expedition of gold will progress more slowly.
