10 Most Overlooked WWE Hell In A Cell Spots

There are plenty of other incredible spots that DON'T involve Foley flying off the cage.

Hell in a Cell never fails to deliver some of the most extreme spots of the year. It was just back in April that Shane McMahon leapt off the top of the cage and down onto The Undertaker, crashing through the announcer's table in an attempt to outdo Mick Foley's infamous spot from 1998. (Which he very well may have done.)

The fact is, there are so many high spots and crazy stunts performed during these types of matches that tons of fantastic moments - which would be highlighted time and time again if they happened during an average match - are completely glossed over.

That's obviously a good problem for an event to have. After all, I doubt any fan has ever complained of "too much awesomeness" happening over the course of a night.

So here's a friendly warning: Make sure you pay close attention to those Hell in a Cell matches this Sunday and don't get too wrapped up in any single moment. Otherwise you may miss the under-the-radar spots that won't get replayed into oblivion.

Sorry Edge and Christian, but forget the Con-Chair-To, this is the weaponized tag team move we need to see more often.

Really, the entire match between DX and Legacy is a bit underrated, as it's one of the few HIAC matches that has a highlight package comprised of more than three or four high spots with a bunch of fluff thrown in the middle. This was a solid match from start to finish that had a wonderful flow to it.

That said, the biggest highlights may not have had as much of an OMG factor as other HIAC moments. Yes, Shawn Michael's diving elbow onto Cody Rhodes' neck - which was wedged into a steel chair - was bada*s, but it wasn't exactly "Chokeslam Through the Cage" bada*s.

But that finish...that finish was impeccable.

As a dazed Rhodes stood helpless in the ring, HBK tuned up the band while HHH thumped the mat with his sledgehammer, signaling the merger of two iconic maneuvers. And it did not disappoint. The Sweet Hammer Music (or Sledge Chin Music?) should have appeared so much more after this, but sadly, it did not.
