10 Most Undeserved Pushes In WWE History

'Deserve got nothin' to do with it'.

There has been a lot of talk recently that Roman Reigns doesn't 'deserve' to main event WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar. According to a section of the fanbase, Reign's push is undeserved for a multitude of reasons and that there are people who deserve the spot more than him. Reigns is, apparently, being groomed for superstardom despite the fact that he lacks the verbal skills of a headliner and hasn't managed to connect with the WWE universe on the level of someone like Daniel Bryan. In their opinion, it should be the star of last year's 'Mania, Bryan, who should be facing off with the Beast Incarnate on March 29th. Should Reigns really be headlining WrestleMania at this stage in his career? Is he ready? Does he 'deserve' the push he's getting? These are all pressing questions, but Reigns is not the first man to be asked them. There have been numerous wrestlers throughout the years who have been told that they don't deserve the position that they find themselves in. Whilst the jury is still out on Reigns, there are some wrestlers who have received huge pushes where it was clear that they didn't deserve it for one reason or another. Either they hadn't 'paid their dues', were beneficiaries of nepotism or got there because they just happened to possess the freakshow appearance that wrestling requires. Just what were the bookers smoking when they decided to push these guys?
