10 Superstars WWE Creative Have Completely Abandoned
So much for 'The Modern-Day Maharaja'...
“Creative has nothing for you,” is a phrase wrestling fans are well-accustomed to hearing about life in WWE. Despite three hours of Raw, two of SmackDown and other hours dedicated to secondary programming like 205 Live, Main Event and NXT every week, WWE's creative minds still find room for everybody.
That's fair enough when considering the workload, but it's hardly reasonable when the talent being overlooked is excellent or was in a good position just a few months back. Things change quickly in WWE's world, and that's just the way it is. Whilst that speed could be used as an excuse to justify why certain roster members are disregarded or completely abandoned by the writers, it wouldn't be a valid one.
2017 has been a year of ups and downs for guys like Matt Hardy, Jinder Mahal, and Bray Wyatt. All of those men have held titles across Raw and SmackDown this year (two of them were even WWE Champions), but they now find themselves out in the cold without a story or feud to speak of as 2018 looms.
Worse, they're not alone...
