Years in the making and months in the offing, a weekly television show with the roster and resources to theoretically tackle WWE's industry monopoly is now ready for consumption, with its impact already felt before the strains of Cody's entrance theme echo over the first quarter hour.
Ahead of the big TNT debut, Cody conducted a media question and answer session that served as both a last, long plug for the broadcast and also an opportunity to flex an authoritative, affable version of himself some way separate from the balshy brash wrestler-turned-boss seducing the sold out Starrcade attendees earlier this year. Approaching a number of real and relevant questions with balance and assuredness, Cody did away with the bluster to offer his honest appraisal of how things have gone so far, how he hopes Night One and the foresable future will go, and the obstacles and challenges of such a grand undertaking.
All Elite Wrestling is barely A Thing yet, but it already feels like its days as the In-Thing have passed somewhat. This presents a different type of pressure, but one 'The American Nightmare' perhaps wears well in contrast to buddying with the Young Bucks or betting with Dave Meltzer. Those charming days are over, but Cody is finally discovering Executive Vice Presidential charm...

10. Cleaning Up The Kenny Craic
It shouldn't really come as too much of a shock to those that saw the original Being The Elite episode that caused all the fuss, but Dominik Dijakovic and The Young Bucks appeared to take it to heart on Twitter so Kenny Omega's recent remarks on NXT talents were worthy enough for Cody to carefully dissect.
Batting back remarks in the first question from the session, Cody was relatively cool about the controversy.
He sad; "Well I know that my Father was rather instrumental in bringing the developmental brand up...making it into a brand. You'll never hear me disparage NXT, there's a locker room full of my friends over there. If you go on the Performance Center tour you'll pass in front of my Dad's boots. I think Kenny was just having a bit of fun, something in-character that's been going on with Being The Elite. I have nothing but good things to say about NXT or the developmental brand".
