10 Things We Learned From WWE’s Undertaker: The Last Ride (Chapter Four)

Chapter four of WWE's 'Last Ride' series ended with The Undertaker asking his camera crew to bow out so he could have a private word with AJ Styles backstage at Extreme Rules 2019. That, presumably, was when AJ made his pitch, the pair officially confirmed they'd like to work together and both started wheels in motion towards WrestleMania 36.

It's a gripping conclusion to a cracker of an episode.

The latest slice of 'Taker introspection pulled the nose up after chapter three's tame effort. It was grounded in very-real emotion, and passionately told the story of a man struggling with his own mortality; talking head comments from Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Bruce Prichard, Steve Austin and more helped to sell the fact that the almighty 'Deadman' had been ravaged by crippling self-doubt for years.

Next week's finale will put Styles over in a big way, and rightfully so. He's a dream talent 'Taker thinks the world of, but the icon had to go through some waking nightmares to get to him. That slog, and the psychological torment it caused, made this arguably the best chapter so far...
