Dolph Ziggler has been a title-winning, big-bumping, hip-gyrating, lady-stealing sensation for well over a decade now. Ask pretty much any fan who enjoys work rate and they'll tell you that Dolph has never had his just deserts over the years. Yes, he's been World Champion twice and wrestled almost everybody, but he's never been the guy.

Scott Hall once told Steve Austin on his podcast that it rarely pays dividends to be so good at bumping that you become typecast as someone who's used to make others look good. That's been Ziggler's lot, for the most part, and he's currently operating under a "handshake agreement" with WWE that gives no assurances over his future.

For all the great bumps, all the wonderful matches and all the storyline lore that's passed him by since he first showed up (admittedly under a different character) in 2005, Dolph has had to go through a lot of sh*t during his career. Some gimmicks have been awful, a few feuds have sucked hard and creative have sometimes delighted themselves in crushing Ziggler's momentum just when it looks like he's on the up.
