10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Logan Paul
WWE U.S. Champion Logan Paul has taken the wrestling world by storm, but not without controversy.
Love him or hate him, one has to admit Logan Paul has had an exceptional start to his WWE career.
He’s taken to pro wrestling like a duck to water and has already generated plenty of highlight-reel moments. As of this writing, he's the WWE United States Champion, and even though he's only been around a few years, he's shared the stage with some of the company's best wrestlers and biggest stars. That list includes Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, The Miz, and Ricochet, and it will only grow with time as he works his way through the WWE roster.
However, there’s plenty that WWE would prefer you didn’t think about when the Media Megastar shows up on Raw or SmackDown. These moments are controversial, and not in the way that attracts eyeballs to one's matches or promos. They range from mildly embarrassing to flat-out cringeworthy, and this list goes through them in detail.
As a disclaimer of sorts, some items on this list include mentions of some sensitive and/or disturbing subjects. There will be content warnings as the list moves along...
10. His Movies Bombed
Logan Paul's bio on the WWE website advertises his forays into acting, specifically largely forgotten movies like "The Thinning" and "The Thinning: New World Order." Those were both YouTube releases that didn't make it into theaters, so one can't well say those movies were unsuccessful.
However, his career also includes the 2017 film "Where's the Money," 2019's "Airplane Mode," and 2020's "Valley Girl." If you haven't heard of any of those movies, you're not alone, because they all bombed at the box office.
The latter was released in the early days of the pandemic, so that one may have an excuse. The reviews for it also weren't too terrible, so Logan Paul gets at least a partial pass for that one. However, Where's the Money wasn't in theaters long enough to gain traction, and "Airplane Mode" was released exclusively on iTunes after a two-year delay (more on the unfortunate reason why later...).
