For much of his professional wrestling career, William Regal has played the villain. He's been a uppity snob, a merciless in-ring technician, and a crooked, ass-kissing commissioner. Outside of the ring, however, he's one of the most respected figures in WWE, a testament to his experience, longevity, and wisdom. Despite being such a highly-regarded pro, Regal's backstage life hasn't exactly been as separate from his controversial in-ring persona as one might expect. Struggles with drugs and alcohol have resulted in a number of incidents WWE would really rather we forgot - and that's not to mention all the embarrassing, ineffective storylines he's been made a part of over the years. 10. He Once Urinated On A Flight Attendant

Regal served a stint as Commissioner during the later days of the Attitude Era, a role which brought about one particularly memorable incident. While feuding with Chris Jericho, Regal found himself the victim of a "besmirching", as Y2J was shown urinating in his tea backstage. But did you know that Regal was part of another controversial incident along the same lines, this time as the perpetrator, far away from the safety harness of kayfabe. In an interview with The Sun, he confessed: 'I was rather 'out West' on booze. I went into the plane toilet and I had my foot in the door, which hadn't shut. I was relieving myself when the hostess tapped me on the shoulder and I spun round. Next thing I know I wake up in a jail cell, in Anchorage, Alaska, when I should have been in Detroit. I had no memory of why I was there.'
