We're all set for one of the big four pay per views of the year, but the anticipation for the 2016 Royal Rumble is somewhat muted within the WWE Universe. This should be the most innovative Rumble we've seen for many years with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship being defended in the 30-man match for the first time. On top of that, we have the prospect of AJ Styles' debut, while the likes of Triple H, Daniel Bryan and numerous old-timers could return. We also have a number of interesting develop on the go-home RAW with the potential for the ring to explode if The Wyatt Family and Brock Lesnar come face-to-face, for example. However, it has been what feels like an eternity since we've seen a Rumble match to write home about. In recent times, we've seen John Cena romp home to a predictable win, the Daniel Bryan debacle and subsequent Batista win of 2014, and Roman Reigns' universally unpopular 'success' last year. WWE need to deliver this year. We simply can't have another unsatisfying result that leads to people unsubscribing from the Network and highjacking live events. It's high time WWE's creative team produced something compelling and, perhaps more importantly, unpredictable. To do so, they should follow these 10 ways to book the perfect 2016 WWE Royal Rumble event.
