10 Worst WWE Pay-Per-View Names Ever

What better way to raise interest in a show than by giving it a horrible name?

Naming a wrestling show is no easy task. Many companies are famed for their creative take on it, with companies such as PROGRESS (The Show We Can't Call Progresslemania For Legal Reasons) and PWG (Cruisin' For A Bruisin') at the forefront of the list. Not all companies have this much fun with their show names, though, and most end up using fairly generic names that wouldn't be out of place in the discography of a teenage metal band, like Dominion, Refuse To Lose or Final Battle.

As the largest pro wrestling company in all of time and space, WWE is under more scrutiny than most when it comes to naming shows, and the wide range of their audience means that they are handcuffed somewhat to the more generic end of the scale. This is the reason that most of WWE's shows follow the generic metal album name formula, ticking the stereotypical pro wrestling box rather than risking alienating any of their fans.

There have been some absolute stinkers in WWE's long pay-per-view history, show names that either made absolutely no sense or sound like something NOFX's Fat Mike would throw away for being too stupid...
