As of this writing, it is looking increasingly likely that Bayley and Sasha Banks will headline Hell In A Cell 2020, or at very least do battle in the titular gimmick on the show. Nothing is yet confirmed on that front, but a pulsating brawl following the 'Role Model's match with Asuka at Clash Of Champions seemed to imply that the confrontation was due in the very near future.

Hallelujah.

This is a victory and a f*cking half for the pair of them, having suffered and survived the very worst instincts of Vince McMahon since they were called up in 2016 and 2015 respectively. There are many articles on this author page labouring on the low ebbs the pair have had to endure despite glistening CVs from their NXT days and countless showings on the main roster that saw them elevate others and each other almost every time they wrestled.

They've managed to cultivate a feud that started before the global crisis took hold, continue and nurture it during the darkest of days, and steer it towards a major main event spot right at the angle's peak. This isn't just an achievement in modern day WWE, it's a miracle. Even then, the ultra-talented women at the end of the chain were made to overcome obstacles constructed by the maniacal man at the top...

10. Asuka Vs Sasha Banks (The Horror Show At Extreme Rules)

A case of great simply not being enough, a dream pay-per-view meeting threw up some nightmarish moments when Bayley randomly assumed the role of referee in order to hand Asuka's Raw Women's Championship over to Asuka.

Destined to be a terrific match laden with plot centred around the delicate relationship between Bayley and Sasha Banks, the entire story took a left turn when McMahon allegedly insisted on getting the red brand's belt onto 'The Boss'. It came with the caveat that 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' be protected because their system is horribly, horribly, broken, and thus a finish played out in which 'The Role Model' slapped on a referee's shirt so the heels could steal the belt.

A steaming turd of a conclusion that derailed the contest and almost put a bullet in about four months of work between the heels, it spoke to the quality of all three that they were able to escape this just about unscathed. Not least when they had more bullsh*t to overcome the next night...
