10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Sept 6)

Will we see The Rock vs Triple H at WrestleMania 32?

By John Canton /

It's nearly the end of the summer and that usually means the slowest period in the WWE calendar. Every WWE fan knows that the last four months of the year are the least important as stop-gap feuds and angles are used (see Seth Rollins vs Sting) whilst they wait for early 2016 to start their WrestleMania run-in. The television ratings told quite the interesting story this week - Raw did its best numbers since mid-June possibly because of the return of Sting and then there was Smackdown that did its lowest numbers in several years (under two million viewers in the US) even though it was a pretty good show. Keep in mind that those low numbers came at a time when they weren't against the juggernaut that is the National Football League regular season. The first NFL game is on Thursday, so Smackdown is going to be hurt big time since that first NFL game will likely reach 30 million viewers. Raw faces the NFL on September 14 and that will hurt the viewership numbers too. After that, there's a NFL game on Mondays and Thursdays for the rest of the year. This past week was one of the most bizarre in recent memory. There was the story of Jimmy Snuka getting charged for a murder he may have committed 32 years ago, then there was the crazy fan getting shot outside of the WWE Performance Center and TNA's Bram beating up his girlfriend. Here is this week's Q&A based off tweets sent to me at @johnreport and there are plenty of interesting topics as usual.
