Last night's AEW Dynamite was all about resetting the promotion after what went down at Revolution, with clusters of wrestlers set off in new directions as we begin the long road to Double or Nothing (23 May) and, indeed, Blood and Guts, which is just three weeks away.

Kenny Omega and Nick Jackson weren't in the building, but Hangman Page, Matt Jackson, and Cody most certainly were, meaning The Elite still had a presence. One of them was left reeling after an unexpected confrontation with a bona fide wrestling icon promising to bring "the dark side" to AEW. Revenge on MJF, it seems, will have to wait.

Jon Moxley opened the show with a cathartic promo after ending Chris Jericho's reign at the pay-per-view, with Dynamite dropping a big hint on who the new champ might face next. Later, Mox tangled with Jericho and Sammy Guevara in the main event.

The women's division had a quiet night outside of Big Swole vs. Leva Bates, with Nyla Rose nowhere to be seen. On the midcard, we got PAC vs. Chuck Taylor, a new faction's formation, Jake Hager vs. the Dustin Rhodes-affiliated QT Marshall, and Colt Cabana teaming with SoCal Uncensored to battle The Dark Order.

Let's light the fuse.
