13. Why He Helped Jake Roberts
We kick off the festivities with DDP imparting some of his patented Page positivity, discussing the importance of "owning your life". Stone Cold mentions how astonishingly far Jake Roberts has come since DDP got ahold of him and asks if he Jake owns his life now. Dallas responds that he's on his way, and he's taken more ownership of it than ever before. He reminds Austin that he asked DDP if he was crazy when he initially told him he was moving The Snake into his home to try and get him clean and sober, and Steve laughs. He says that without Jake Roberts, he would never have been a 3-time world champion or a main event guy, stating that he owes so much of his career accomplishments to what he learned from Roberts. "He gave me a lot, so I wanted to pay him back."
