This week's topical ranting about the wrestling touches on the thorny subject of wrestling moves that need to be retired. Hey, these things go through cycles: Piper used to use the sleeper as a finish, and the DDT used to be like straight-up murder. I've also got some questions about how the Rumble's going to play out with Reigns defending the big belt in the match itself. Well, we've all got questions. You answer mine, and I'll answer yours. In other news, I watched Smackdown last week so you didn't have to... except you might actually have enjoyed it, if you did. I know, I'm still stunned myself. It's got a fair old way to go, but crucially, now that it's The Maury & Jerry Show it doesn't sound like cold, wet ass anymore. I'm excited for the Social Outcasts and Ryback, curious about Sting and the WWE Hall Of Fame, and genuinely a little bit horrified about all the injuries in WWE right now. I've just heard about Rusev. If anything happens to Reigns, I think Vince might just fold WWE up like a big old carny tent and go and hibernate in a cave until everyone's back on their feet again. Oh, and there might be a Smackdown spoiler somewhere in here. I'm not sure, it flew in through the window while I was making a cup of tea. If you see it, put a glass over it and release it into the wild.
