16 Matches That WWE Must Include In Owen Hart's DVD

An Owen DVD/Blu-Ray is on the way, but which matches best define his legacy?

WWE is finally working an Owen Hart DVD/Blu-Ray. The company, via WrestlingDVDNews.com, made the announcement on May 7th 2015, a day which would have been Owen's fiftieth birthday. The announcement arrives following years of litigation and ill-will between Owen's widow Martha and WWE. Martha has since come out and issued a statement saying that she and her family 'do not back or support it in any way, nor has WWE requested our backing or support' as well as claiming that WWE are trying to exploit Owen's memory for commercial gain. WWE have not released any more statements and it seems that the project is still going ahead. While Martha may (understandably) be upset about it, there is no doubting that it is great news for Owen's considerable fan base. They have been clamouring for an Owen DVD/Blu-Ray (as well as Hall of Fame induction) for years. There have been Owen matches on many WWE DVD releases and a great chunk of his (televised) WWE matches can be found on the WWE Network, but a DVD set, complete with feature-length documentary, is what fans/collectors really want. It's the right way to show the best of Owen Hart and honour his legacy. There will be many matches from (hopefully) all different periods of Owen's wrestling career. Here are sixteen which should make the final cut.
