He certainly is. At SummerSlam in Toronto this weekend, anything other than a Goldberg squash win seems impossible. This is Bill's redemption after the depressing car crash match he had with The Undertaker at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia, and it's a way for WWE to squeeze yet another big star onto the card this Sunday.
This week's go home episode of Raw was functional at best though. It all started off so promisingly with a few solid matches (Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio was damn good) before WWE suddenly realised they had a pay-per-view to promote and went all in on the last-minute extracurricular hype. Still, there wasn't much you'd have missed outside the ring if you were paying attention.
Inside it, there was some subtle friction between Trish Stratus and Natalya, Charlotte Flair acted like a top notch heel, Andrade gave Rey a helping hand, Alexa Bliss took a visible fresh air swipe and more. That's before getting to some dreadful photoshop and other production gaffes.
