It's on. Well, almost.
Daniel Bryan challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Title at Fastlane on this week's SmackDown, but WWE ended up booking Jey Uso as the face's first hurdle before squaring off with the big boss. That, rather predictably, led to double count out shenanigans that creative will explore over the next couple of weeks before the pay-per-view.
Whilst jousting back and forth on the mic with Roman, Daniel snuck in a sneaky nod towards Reigns' past. He almost went the way full and mentioned The Shield too - Bryan's deft avoidance and WWE-style revisionism is here. So, happy hunters, are 17 other hidden gems that you easily could've missed from this week's show.
Genius from Paul Heyman, some of the smoothest in-ring work you're likely to see from a rookie, Edge going retro and the Dirty Dogs pretending they're drinking...something are included. The same goes for Seth Rollins maximising the moment (and making Cesaro look like a million bucks) and a production gaffe that's quite special.
Honestly, this might be one of the most random errors Kevin Dunn's crew has ever made.
