One bumper bout and another...not-so-bumper match were announced on WWE SmackDown.

WWE added two brand new matches to the Elimination Chamber 2022 line up on Friday's edition of SmackDown.

The biggest (by quite some margin) is the fact that Goldberg has returned to the company fold and will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. This sizeable speed bump on Roman's road to WrestleMania 38 will keep him busy until that feud with Brock Lesnar strikes up again.

It's also yet another World Title challenge for big Bill in Saudi Arabia - this has become his go-to role in WWE, and fans shouldn't expect the Chamber bout to be his last title tilt either.

The other match added is...less exciting.

Drew McIntyre, who returned at the Royal Rumble and dumped both 'Happy Folks' out of the match, will go one-on-one with Madcap Moss. McIntyre already handled Moss with relative ease back at Day 1, and it's hard to see a different result in Saudi.

The feud has been overstaying its welcome for a while, and most fans probably thought Drew's Rumble revenge was the end of it. Nope, there's another pay-per-view battle incoming, and it happens on 19 February.
