2 WWE Hall Of Famers Show Up On SmackDown
This week's SmackDown was a Hall Of Fame-heavy night pre-Royal Rumble.
Both Jeff Jarrett and Eric Bischoff made cameo appearances on the latest SmackDown.
Jarrett (sporting his snazzy cow print jacket) showed up during a backstage segment with Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs. The Hall Of Famer praised Boogs' guitar-playing skills before WWE quickly moved on. Was this as a subtle tease that J-E-Double-F will be in next week's Royal Rumble?
That could be it, but his fellow HOF'er Bischoff definitely won't be tossing fools over the top rope come the next "premium live event". Eric appeared alongside Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville in another backstage skit - he chewed the fat with Pearce about being a WWE authority figure, then approved of his decision to book a one-on-one bout between Deville and Naomi for next week's show.
Summer Rae also said a quick hello to the live crowd on the broadcast. She's already been announced for the women's Rumble match on 29 January, so WWE likely knew they had to get her on screen at least once before then.
Keep your peepers peeled for Jarrett in the men's match though. That seems like something the company would book.
