Having picked up a victory on this past Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo have undergone somewhat of a name change.

While collectively the pair of real-life cousins are known as Los Lotharios, individually they've both dropped their second names. As show on the WWE.com roster page, Garza and Carrillo are no more, with the two now respectively known as simply Angel and Humberto.

The former Garza took to Twitter to reference this name tweak:

Angel and Humberto are not the first talents to have parts of their ring name removed, and they certainly won't be the last. Just off the top of the head, WWE removed elements of the names of (Alexander) Rusev, (Adrian) Neville, Apollo (Crews), Big E (Langston) and (Erick) Rowan.

As for this particular tandem, they scored a W against Cesaro and Mansoor on the most recent SmackDown offering. Angel and Humberto first formally teamed up on the 15 September edition of WWE Main Event, and the duo have become featured players on SmackDown in recent weeks.

This latest WWE name change comes hot on the heels of one talent getting the opposite treatment last week, with Raw's Veer becoming Veer Mahaan.
