2 WWE Wrestlers Got Thrown Off The Roof At Money In The Bank 2020
SPLAT! goes the Superstar.
Baron Corbin sent a couple of unfortunate wrestlers off the top of the WWE Headquarters roof at last night's Money In The Bank 2020 pay-per-view.
The long-rumoured spot came to fruition towards the end of the titular main event. With the women's side of the bout already decided, Corbin found himself brawling with Aleister Black near the edge, electing to toss the Dutchman over after ploughing him against the ring's edge. Rey Mysterio then met the same fate, though SmackDown's 'King' left the body count at two.
Both falls were accompanied by cartoon-style thump sound effects.
If you're worried about Mysterio and/or Black's wellbeing, don't be: they didn't fall all the way to the Stamford streets, as revealed when the cameras showed a higher area the duo presumably landed on.
Besides, established pro-wrestling canon tells us that being sent off a roof isn't instadeath anyway. The Giant met this fate by Hulk Hogan's hand at WCW Halloween Havoc 1995, then returned for his main event with 'The Hulkster' less than an hour later, showing no ill effects from his seemingly fatal plunge.
Unfortunately, there was no YEH-TAY debut at MITB 2020.
