There have been some excellent wrestling shirts over the years. Roddy Piper's Hot Rod, Hogan's red and yellow Hulkamnia, the original nWo and Austin 3:16 were all instant classics. Fans still wear those shirts today and WWE still sells replicas of them on their website and at live events. Wrestling t-shirts can, on occasion, be very, very cool indeed. Nobody is going to feel embarrassed wearing the CM Punk: Best In The World or Macho Man t-shirts, are they? But for every decent, respectable or even cool t-shirt there is always a poor, lazy or downright embarrassing one right around the corner that, should you wear it, makes you ashamed to be a wrestling fan. It can be hard enough proclaiming your love for sports entertainment in public at times and WWE's often unfortunate apparel usually hinders rather than helps the cause. Wrestling t-shirts are at their best when they're simplified. The most popular wrestling shirt of all time was plain black with white text and only had one word and three numbers on it. But, sometimes, WWE confuses it and gets it very, very wrong. Bright colours, bad puns and unintentional penises: you name it, WWE has put it on a t-shirt. Take a look at twenty of the most embarrassingly bad WWE t-shirts of all time.
