20 Things We Need To See From Lucha Underground Season 2

Even the best can get better.

It's official: Lucha Underground is returning for a second season. And, while the first season was pure magic, that doesn't mean there's no room for improvement in season two. Some characters received woefully small amounts of development, while others suffered from inconsistent booking. Plus, many of the show's major plot points were never resolved, so the show itself left us begging for answers.

This list will address the twenty things -- from general to extremely specific -- that we, the Temple faithful, demand from the next episodes of the best wrestling show on television.

20. Gang Warz 2K15

One of the twists that concluded Ultima Lucha was Chavo Guerrero turning on Texano to join up with Blue Demón and the non-eaten remnants of the Crew. Blue Demón has been's LU's representative of MEXICO, or, more accurately, of traditional lucha libre power structures. Are they the ones who are coming to avenge the death of El Dragón Azteca, just like they tried to avenge Blue Demón's injury at Chavo's hands?

That would leave Dario Cueto and his relatively few allies to contend with what amounts to a masked, moonsaulting crime syndicate, but Texano has friends in Mexico as well. Assuming he is not literally dead, Konnan has a history with basically everyone in the lucha libre community and an agenda of his own. And, of course, Mil Muertes and his Disciples of Death are currently holding most of Lucha Underground's championships, and anyone trying to gain ground in a power struggle will have to contend with them. Season two should basically be the WWE Gang Warz of 1997, only with dragons and warriors and undead monsters instead of black supremacists and racist bikers. So, you know, Game of Thrones.
