As the group stages of the TNA World Title Series finally begin to sew up, TNA's production team seem acutely aware that they have less and less content to fill each show...because they apparently didn't plan this out all that well. This week was another episode chock full of aggravating filler, but it did feature some of the most outrageously blatant racism in recent pro wrestling history, a couple of peculiar globe-trotting interview segments, and a very bizarre admission by Al Snow. TNA is of course a morbid curiosity for most by this point, and so we soldier on, marching towards February, where it seems like the entire house of cards might implode, unless the TV talks the company has been having somehow pay off. Here are 20 WTF moments from this week's TNA Impact Wrestling...
20. Josh Keeps Staring Off-Screen
During the opening introduction segment, Pope and Josh riff on what happened last week and what this week's show promises, but fans might've been distracted by the fact that Josh kept staring off to his left, presumably reading some sort of teleprompter command. It made it look like he wasn't at all paying attention to anything Pope said, but more importantly, why isn't the damn teleprompter in their direct eyeline to the camera like usual? Or did the teleprompter break down and he had to look at a monitor off-screen? But it's not live, so why didn't they just re-record it if that was the case? Whatever the answer, it looked horribly unprofessional.
