22 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown Live (August 2)

Eva Marie steals the show!

The third ever SmackDown live looked like being that tad more interesting than normal. In the hours before the show began, rumours began to spread suggesting Brock Lesnar would be in attendance. With Randy Orton attacking The Beast in the dying embers of this week's RAW, it would make sense for Brock to seek some sort of revenge against SmackDown's Viper.

Needless to say, just like RAW, anything involving Brock and Randy would be saved until the very end of the show, but as the old saying goes, good things come to those who wait. WWE loves to tease us, and the way this rivalry is shaping up, I don't mind that one bit.

While this week's RAW was rather subdued compared to last week's spectacular, this week's SmackDown should be ramped up to fever pitch. After Dolph Ziggler's shock win in the number one contender's six pack challenge. His development into a bonafide main eventer is sure to take centre stage. It's going to be interesting to see how the WWE Universe takes to The Showoff after a prolonged period as a pre-show player.

On top of Ziggler's trials and tribulations, we had the small matter of American Alpha's SmackDown Live debut, and the first step on a long and winding road of many championships - once SmackDown gets their own set as has been widely reported, of course.

Here are all the WTF Moments from this week's WWE SmackDown Live...

19. Here I Go Again...

I'm going to keep harping on about this till I either die or things change – whatever comes first.

Remember how the GMs promised their shows would be about the talent rather than themselves? Well, after getting involved just as much as normal last week, Shane and Daniel kicked off this week's show too. They then kept appearing from time to time, just like the old Authority days.

Once more, they featured too much in the show so that it felt like it was about them dealing with their Superstars' problems, rather than being about the Superstars themselves. There's nothing wrong with making your calls off camera, lads.

Stephanie and Mick delivered on their promise once again on RAW this week so why can't Shane and Daniel? BECAUSE THEY'RE MASSIVE LIARS! That's why.

New era of the New Era on SmackDown Live, same old sh*t. Go to Monday Night RAW if you want to see some proper change!
