With another week comes yet another perplexing episode of TNA Impact, and though they didn't shove a wildly unnecessary PPV replay into the show nor reduce World Title Series matches to mere 30 second highlight reels as per last week, it was still as bizarre and indeed, WTF, as ever. Yes, the much-hyped Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong match certainly delivered, and the standard of wrestling on the whole was rock solid, but from a disproportionate amount of screen time being devoted to comedy act Grado, to Earl Hebner perhaps proving he probably needs to retire (or get the booking team fired, at least), the WTF quotient was high this past week. As TNA are pretty much just running out the clock until their make-or-break India tour begins, it may not be the most exciting, story-driven of shows, but it sure presented enough bizarre, car crash appeal that you still couldn't look away. 24. Pope Has "Prophetic Capabilities"
As the show kicks off, Pope and Josh are discussing last week's episode of Impact, specifically EC3's cheap victory over Lashley. Pope remarks that he has "prophetic capabilities", and that "everything that happened, in my mind, went down according to how it was supposed to go down." Josh then reprimands Pope, reminding him that he predicted Lashley to win, and Pope simply replies that "the stars aligned...it didn't go Pope's way, but everything that happened, it happened because it was supposed to happen." We all know TNA shows are padded these days, but jeez, there has to be something better than this...
