25 Most Revealing WWE Instagram Posts Of The Week (April 24th)
RIP Chyna 1969-2016.
It is always with a heavy heart that the world of professional wrestling greets the death of one of its own. Despite her occasionally troubled past and the apparent blemishes on her reputation that pushed her away from the Hall Of Fame recognition she surely deserved, Chyna was a bona-fide legend. Her passing this week at the age of just 45 is another tragedy to rock a world that sees way too many legends die young.
Elsewhere, fans were treated to a surprising title change at an NXT house show, the glamour of the European tour and the possibility of Conor McGregor joining WWE. If you believed that was going to happen, there's little hope for you.
Good news came out of Bray Wyatt's camp that his injury isn't quite as bad as it first appeared, and we've finally got a debut date for Gallows and Anderson. And if you choose to believe that WWE get any pleasure out of the misfortunes of their rivals, the further financial issues of TNA should go down with mischievous glee too.
But inevitably, it all seems a bit inconsequential, and one story more than any other dominated this week's social media. This was the week in WWE Instagram...
25. RIP Chyna
Last Sunday Chyna posted the last selfie on her Instagram account (aside from a shot of her socks later the same day).
Her account will now be run as a monument to her life and career.
