If much 2021 can be classed as the year of unexpected departures and releases galore in the land of World Wrestling Entertainment, then this week must be defined as the seven days of splitting.

Friday night saw The Tribal Chief return to his brand and make an example out of his long-time Special Counsel Paul Heyman, giving him his marching orders and a Superman Punch for good measure. Monday gave us the visual of a Phenomenal duo crumbling before our very eyes as AJ Styles was dumped flat on his face by the mighty Omos. And Wednesday confirmed one of the worst-kept secrets of recent times, with Kyle O'Reilly officially kissing Sports Entertainment goodbye by popping up alongside his Undisputed brethren on AEW Dynamite.

But it wasn't all heartache and betrayal within Vince McMahon's empire over the last week - nobody got unceremoniously booted out of the company, so that's a win, right? The aforementioned Styles also lent some of his shine to the multi-coloured clusterf*ck, The Beast and Reigns finally came to blows once more, and Bobby Lashley did his best Morpheus on Raw.

Day 1 is shaping up to be one of the biggest events of 2022 from the get-go too, with a stacked WWE title fatal four-way, questionable cinematic angle-built Raw Women's Championship collision, and, erm, Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss. You wanted fresh match-ups, didn't you?

But as we close in on the most wonderful time of the year, just who has been Naughty and which WWE stars have been Nice on Instagram this week? Whoever designed that "Needle Mover" t-shirt likely just earned their place on the former list...
