Drew Gulak's campaign for a second crack at Cedric Alexander's Cruiserweight Championship has finally paid off, with Drake Maverick signing the SummerSlam rematch for next week's episode. Since being aligned with Gentleman Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick, Gulak has been a driving force behind the continued success of the cruiserweight division.

Ahead of his own Cruiserweight Championship opportunity in his hometown of Australia, Buddy Murphy impressed this week to the shock of no-one with a victory over Gran Metalik.
