30 WTF Moments From WWE RAW (Oct 3)
Charlotte. That is all.
Eight nights after the official Clash Of Champions Network Special took place, we had yet another Clash Of Champions event, of sorts, set to take place on Monday Night RAW.
A pair of rematches from COC were due to take place and even though they were set to be carbon copies of what happened just eight nights ago, I'm not going to be labelling then New Era, same old sh*t worthy. Rematches for championships happen, ok?
The first would see Brian Kendrick go after TJ Perkins' Cruiserweight Championship. The man with the plan lost to Dabba The Hutt at COC so was hoping to resurrect his career with a huge win. Of course, I'll be dealing with this match again during the course of this article, because reasons.
The second title match, and the main event of the show - which I haven't made a WTF Moment because even though a women's match topping the card on RAW is something we've haven't seen in 12 years since the days of Trish and Lita, it's a match and rivalry worthy of topping just about any card in the world today - saw Sasha Banks going after the Women's Championship once more.
As I write this article in the hours before RAW started, let's just hope Charlotte doesn't try to literally kill The Boss, much like she did at SummerSlam.
Here are all the WTF Moments from this week's WWE RAW...
29. I Can See Straight Through It...
For the second week in a row Roman Reigns was carted out to kick off a Monday Night RAW.
While this is undoubtedly a positive because he's taking the place of those boring 20 minute promos the Authority used to put us through, it's also a clear mark that Roman is still 'The Guy' not only in terms of his gimmick, but in the eyes of Vince McMahon too.
Not being an American Football fan, and not living in America, I'm reliably informed that RAW takes to the air just before Monday Night Football begins. Therefore, Vince McMahon is thinking that if he gets Roman out before the football starts and a large protion of the WWE Universe reaches for the remote, the entire world will see him and in turn, fall in love with him.
I expect this trend to continue for some time to come. Same push, different championship.
Roman is still THE guy that none of us loves. Sorry, Vince.
