Kenny Omega outworks everyone; Miro's new challenger is set; AEW makes an infuriating mistake.

AEW has enough star power by now to offset the lack of CM Punk.

Even so, the comedown from last week's Rampage to Friday's night episode was fierce. This week's edition was pre-taped, so everything had more of a Sunday Night Heat feel to it; not quite 2001 Heat, but definitely pre-SmackDown style Heat. In other words, it existed for those who watched Dynamite on Wednesday and needed a little more.

The annoying thing here is that AEW made one seriously stupid decision, and they might've picked the wrong winners in the opening match (that's arguable though). The company are also beating their own heads against a brick wall by continuing with the commentary as it is, and it doesn't seem like they'd entertain changing that any time soon.

On the plus side, Miro's next TNT Title feud looks fun, AEW managed to give the women's 'Casino Battle Royale' some actual purpose (which is rare for such matches), and Kenny Omega is willing to do whatever it takes to tease that he might lose the AEW World Title to Christian Cage at All Out.

Here are all the 'Ups' and 'Downs' from a CM Punk-less third attempt.
