Well, you can’t say that nothing happened during Saturday’s NXT In Your House.

Saturday’s premium live event card featured six matches, including five titles on the line and one grudge match with some very unique stakes. We saw two titles change hands during the show, including one legit feel-good moment for an up-and-coming act that has been slowly turned babyface over recent months.

The grudge match between Legado Del Fantasma and Tony D’Angelo’s crew wasn’t a classic by any means, but it was energetic and intense, which was at least appreciated. And now we’ve got one crew joining another, which could make for some fun segments (if done properly) and at least lets WWE’s “Can they co-exist?” trope play out as part of a more natural storyline.

That’s not to say that In Your House wasn’t without problems. There were some poor quality matches, most notably the NXT Championship match, which saw the ongoing angle of Bron Breakker unable to control his emotions while Joe Gacy just hammed it up. It wasn’t entirely terrible, but it went well past its sell-by date, making the end anticlimactic and doing no favors for the young champion.

With that said, let’s get to it…
