With the launch of the WWE Network early last year, the "developmental league" NXT has arrived and are taking over (pun intended).

NXT has become a place where you can see some of the best wrestling on TV every week. The storylines are fluid, the action is innovative and fast paced, and they are given the in ring time to tell their story. It is the home of some of the biggest indie stars that they are looking to make into superstars.

While NXT has become more than just a training ground for WWE, it has become its own brand. NXT makes their home at Full Sail University in Florida, which is key to their product. The Full Sail Audience is one of the smartest wrestling audiences you will find.

The WWE is able to train and develop their future stars in NXT, and when the time is right, they can call them up to the main roster. We've also seen that the WWE can also send some main roster talents down to NXT, not as a demotion, but to be beneficial for both the NXT product and the WWE talent.

The following are 4 WWE stars that would benefit with a move to NXT, followed by 4 NXT stars that are ready to be called up to the the main roster.

8. Bad News Barrett

Currently written off of WWE TV to film a movie, it's likely that Barrett may be out for a few months. The timing couldn't have been better for him. The King Barrett gimmick didn't work, as WWE booked the character very poorly. At one point he was feuding with R-Truth, who was parading around as his own version of a king?

If he is gone awhile, WWE can not let him return only to feud with Stardust (who is responsible for his absence), it will lead nowhere. Why not have him reemerge on WWE TV, down on NXT? There are many directions they could take his character.

If they want him to reappear in the more comedic role of Bad News Barrett, which worked for him before the King Barrett character, Full Sail will enjoy it. If they want his character to be more serious, they could show him front row in the crowd at Full Sail, scouting certain matches. Have Barrett recruit 2 or 3 young heel talents, who he is looking to take with him up to the main roster to form a new stable.  This is a role he is familiar with as the former leader of Nexus.

This could be a completely new booking angle for the WWE, and a great way to not only introduce Barrett back to RAW, but new NXT stars as well.
