5 Ex-WWE Wrestlers Debut At AEW Dark Tapings (SPOILERS)
Last week's AEW Dark tapings were loaded with exciting names.
All Elite Wrestling held its first set of Dark tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida last Saturday (11 September), capturing several shows' worth of footage across two three-hour stints.
The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online's JJ Williams has published a full list of results here. The raw list makes for some interesting reading, given the glut of new names that worked the tapings.
Former WWE wrestlers Stallion Rogers and Anthony Greene (who worked as Curt Stallion and August Grey in NXT) were both there, teaming together to face FTR during the first set of tapings. Later, the duo worked singles matches during the second set, with Greene losing to Evil Uno and Rogers falling to Joey Janela.
The former Arturo Ruas was also at Universal Studios, teaming with Cezar Bononi to beat Ryzin and Jake St. Patrick. Elsewhere, Santana Garrett did the job for Diamante late in the second set, while Anthony Henry (the former Asher Hale) fell to Eddie Kingston.
Allie Katch and Darius Lockhart were amongst the notable indie names to debut. In addition, former Cruiserweight Classic competitor Sean Maluta returned to AEW for the first time since July.
There is currently no indication that any of the above names have been signed by AEW.
