The recent news about CM Punk having his lawyers send a 22 page letter to WWE about his royalties got us thinking about other wrestlers that have sued WWE. Punk didn't sue WWE yet. It was merely a long letter because he felt like he was owed money. If things get complicated then perhaps it will turn into a lawsuit, but for now everything is civil. There have been several big names that have sued WWE only to return. It's proof that Vince McMahon is a forgiving man in some cases. If anybody knows how crazy the wrestling business can be, it's Vince. Somebody might feel one way while they're on the road for years, then they get home for a year two, miss the WWE life and do what they can to come back home. It might happen for Punk too. You never know. It takes a lot for somebody to sue WWE. Anybody that sues them knows that McMahon's got high powered attorneys that can handle anything so it would tough to beat WWE. The courts really have a tough time dealing with it because WWE can always just say they're entertainment and that everything they do is for that reason. It also goes without saying that WWE is a very smart organization. It's why they're so successful. Here's a look at five superstars that ended up working for WWE in some capacity after they sued them.
