Will Roadblock be more of a speedbump or a big left turn on the Road to WrestleMania?

WWE seems keen on coming up with clever names for events that take place between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, a time period designated as the Road to WrestleMania. Hence, we get the February PPV Fastlane, and now the March WWE Network special event Roadblock. But what kind of event will Roadblock be? This is the latest in a series of special events WWE has put on, turning what normally would be house shows into exclusive programs for the Network. We saw Elimination Chamber revived as a late May event, then Beast in the East beamed in from Japan in July, and a Madison Square Garden house show was broadcast in October. Those shows were fun and unique, with Beast in the East providing the most unique look (plus an NXT Championship title change!). But now, we€™re on the fourth such event, so you have to wonder if this is just going to be WWE going through the motions and trying to build interest in WrestleMania, or will it be a genuine effort to shake things up just three-plus weeks before the big show? Only four matches have been announced, but they all could be really good matches if given time to develop. WWE also could decide that being just 22 days out from Mania, the company€™s top talent should not be taking risks, so we could see a very safe, status-quo event.
