On last night's Raw, Daniel Bryan bid an emotional farewell to both the WWE Universe and his wrestling career in a moment which we've all been dreading since last April, when the beloved leader of the Yes Movement was sidelined with his second career-threatening injury in the space of a year. What's next for Bryan remains to be seen. A Hall of Fame induction seems fitting, but it could be that he wants to step away from the spotlight for a time to decide what's next. One thing which is for sure though is that wrestling fans have lost a truly great talent, along with the many matches he would and should have had if things had only panned out slightly differently. While it may seem almost maudlin to lament on the matches Daniel Bryan could have been part of had his career not come to a sudden halt, it's a testament to his incredible talent and presence as a wrestler that it can be taken as fact that him facing any one of the opponents listed here would have had amazing results. As sad as it is that we'll never get to see these take place, it's interesting to think about what might have been, and seeing as Bryan faced some of these wrestlers outside of the WWE, this list might just open your eyes to a whole new side of his career that now is the perfect time to check out.
