The biggest news of the weekend, possibly overshadowing a fantastic PPV in UFC 181, was the signing by the world's leading MMA promotion of former World Wrestling Entertainment superstar CM Punk. Yes, CM Punk has a new three-letter organization to call home in the UFC - and there will be lots of talk and analysis of the move in the months and years to come. Punk, otherwise known as Phil Brooks, is the disgruntled former WWE Champion who has been all over the news of late, being very vocal in a pair of podcasts regarding his estrangement from the WWE. Among the topics he had covered on the Colt Cabana podtcast were backstage disagreements with Triple H, the inability of WWE doctors to sufficiently identify and treat injuries, and numerous wasted opportunities involving the star that could have benefited the promotion. Oh, and the little matter of being terminated on his wedding day, something for which WWE head honcho Vince McMahon publicly apologised That, however, didn't stop lightening from striking twice, and just as with Brock Lesnar, CM Punk will be making the move to the octagon. Unlike Lesnar, however, Punk lacks a solid background in collegiate grappling, and he will have his work cut out for him in the MMA world. Here's what we know about his UFC move thus far!
