We always dream about the WWE matches that never came to be. We spend our free time thinking about matches that could never happen unless or until Vince McMahon continues to snipe away talent from indie promotions, Japan, and "around the world".

But what about the current WWE roster? Aren't there matches that we have either never seen or haven't seen in a long time that fans are calling for? With the influx of international or indie stars like Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Balor, Cesaro, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and co, we now have a list of dream match-creating machines.

Whether because of storylines or potential in-ring chemistry, here are the 10 WWE Dream Matches Fans Want to See (That Could Still Happen).

But first...

Honorable Mentions:

Finn Balor Vs. Bray Wyatt - their combined entrances would be worth the price of admission alone...

Ronda Rousey Vs. Stephanie McMahon - the seeds were planted at WrestleMania 31...

Seth Rollins Vs. Triple H - a feud was building between the teacher and the apprentice before Rollins's injury...

9. Randy Orton Vs. Brock Lesnar

An F-5 countered into an RKO. Do I really need to say more?

If any two WWE moves were made for each other, it would be Orton's RKO (outta nowhere) and Brock Lesnar's F-5. This single isolated moment would obviously be what a match between the two would be leading to, but it would be absolutely glorious.

Orton is no longer a spring chicken, having been a member of the full-time roster for close to 15 years, but The Apex Predator debuted when he was only 20 years old. That makes Orton 10 years younger than Triple H, 3 years younger than John Cena, 3 years younger than A.J. Styles, and only 2 years older than Finn Balor.

Randy still has the energy and athleticism to put on a great match, and we know what Brock Lesnar can do (to someone) in the ring.

It's somewhat surprising, but not since September 3rd, 2002 have these two men competed in a singles match. Now a veteran of the squared circle, Orton would be a much better opponent today than he was 13 years ago. The Viper and the Beast could put on a classic, no doubt about it.
