The Post-WarGames period in NXT begins, as Finn Bálor takes aim and Adam Cole takes flight.

Everything came up NXT following an electric WWE weekend in Chicago, but the very parent company that holds ownership over the black-and-gold brand insisted that nobody on the roster was able to sleep on their success.

Pushed over Raw and SmackDown during the 'Thanksgiving Classic', the decision was presumably to maintain a well-sustained buzz during the last month of "Brand Warfare" - a concept that generates interest almost entirely in spite of itself.

For those that shone under the brighter spotlight, it was a celebratory overdose - Adam Cole, Rhea Ripley, Keith Lee and selected others worked multiple shows in front of wider audiences and will doubtless be glad of the extra bumps they took in exchange for the time in Vince McMahon's presence well spent. For the brand as a whole, it served as a welcome and mostly-successful experiment. Another excellent Wednesday night episode has hopefully restored order on the show, if not their prior ratings slump...
