A Current WWE Star Ate Cat Food To Gain Muscle Mass

Nobody tell Vince McMahon or this WWE star is 100% getting a feline gimmick in 2022. Probably.

Rick Boogs was once a proponent of the cat food diet.

The SmackDown man told Ryan Satin's 'Out Of Character' podcast that he decided to consume some kitty grub because he "thought it'd be a good snack on the go". This happened last year, but Boogs eventually sickened himself on the stuff.

His plan was to keep a steady store of "highly-dense, nutritious treats" in his pockets at all times. That way, he reasoned, Boogs would never be caught short when he needed another protein-rich nibble on the road. Apparently, that'd ease his concerns about not consuming enough calories due to WWE's hefty schedule during the second half of 2021.

It's certainly...unique.

Boogs grew to dislike eating cat food, which is a real sentence you've just read. So, in an attempt to shake things up, he actually tried baking some 'cat crunchies' in the oven and smothered melted cheese over them in a bid to mask the taste.

One time, Rick even "kinda went undercover" to pet stores and made up a story about wanting to give his cats the most nutritious meals possible. He was lying - the food was for him.

Amazing.
