The wrestler formerly known as Braun Strowman has taken a bizarre potshot at "dorks choreograph[ing] dance" in pro wrestling in an Instagram post uploaded on Wednesday.

Accompanying a banner for Control Your Narrative's upcoming Awakening: Dallas event on 31 March was the following caption, in which Adam Scherr takes a swipe at unnamed competitors:-

If you missed our first sold out show don’t miss this one. As @controlyournarrative is set blow the roof of the world famous @gilleysdallas 3/31 see the essential character @therealec3 count the seconds of someone’s life away with @realkillerkross or stand in awe at the presence of The Titan!!!! And if you think that’s all wait to you see what else we have up our sleeves. This will be the only place to be 3/31 ( unless you wanna watch a bunch or dorks choreograph dance with each other for no reason at all cause we don’t do that garbage in the Narrative cause we actually fight) be a part of the future be a part of something special be a part of change. We are the future!!!! @prowtv @famedaysofficial @controlyournarrative @freethenarrator #Wrestling #ProWrestling #BigFights #NoFlippyFloppy #WhereTheBigBoysPlay #ChoppinMeat

It's an interesting comment from a man who, amongst other things, partook in a derided Swamp Fight, had choo-choo noises play as he charged around the ring, and once became a tag team champion with a 10-year-old boy as his partner during his WWE tenure, but perhaps unsurprising.

Thus far, Control Your Narrative's marketing has largely revolved around outlandish statements and other "edgy" tactics, including pushing and promoting wrestlers like Austin Aries (an unapologetic conspiracy theorist accused of sexual misconduct in June 2020) and Nazi-adjacent "jokes." The group is currently selling a "nuke the bingo hall" t-shirt. They know who they're trying to upset here.

CYN's latest event, The Awakening: Orlando, took place last weekend, and was headlined by Scherr and founder EC3 defeating The Righteous.
