AEW's ALL OUT 2020 could be another major wrestling event to face cancellation, postponement or a move elsewhere, following comments from Illinois government about plans for major events and large gatherings going forward.

Governor JB Pritzker said: "It brings me no joy to say this, but based on what the experts tell us and everything we know...large conventions, festivals and other major events are canceled until Illinois can reopen."

The state has been home to All Elite Elite's Labor Day Weekend show since before the organisation existed. Alongside wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring Of Honour, Impact and the independent scene, 2018's ALL IN took place from the Sears Centre just outside of Chicago and was used as proof of concept for Tony Khan to formalise a longterm investment and create the company alongside Cody, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. ALL OUT was AEW's last pay-per-view before the launch of Dynamite in 2019 and took place from the same venue, leading discussion of it becoming one of the company's annual traditions.

The show may still go ahead, but - as with Dynamite and Double Or Nothing 2020 - plans may need to be significantly shifted in order to run the event as scheduled.
